DANIELSVILLE, Pa. - Senior Chris Butterworth (Shillington, Pa./Governor Mifflin) and freshman William Dietz (Mansfield, Pa./Mansfield Area) each carded a 96 to lead the Lycoming College golf team at the Moravian College Spring Invitational at the par-72, 6,437-yard Woodstone Golf Club on Thursday, March 29.
 
Butterworth posted three pars during his round and Dietz added three pars and his first career birdie on the par-4, 373-yard No. 11.
 
Senior Josh Chmelik (Thurmont, Md./Catoctin) finished just behind the top-finishing pair, carding a 97 as he posted three pars. Sophomore Zack Czap (Philipsburg, Pa./Philipsburg-Osceola) posted a 110 and sophomore Ryan Davis (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) finished with a 124 in his first career round.
 
The Warriors get back on the course on Monday, April 2, when they head to the Lebanon Country Club for the Lebanon Valley Invitational at 12:30 p.m.
