WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - For the first time since leaving the Freedom Conference, the Lycoming College men’s basketball team will take the trip to Wilkes-Barre to face former conference rival King’s on Saturday at 3 p.m.
The Warriors (12-0 overall), who are receiving votes in the latest D3hoops.com poll, will head to Scandlon Gym looking for their first win in the unfriendly confines since 2001 while guaranteeing themselves a winning record for the 16th time in the last 17 years. Lycoming is coming off a 91-75 win over Mount Union in the championship of the Basinger Memorial Tournament. Junior
Anthony Martin led the Warriors with 22 points in the title game.
King’s is coming off a 62-47 loss to Scranton at the Cross-County Challenge. Sophomore Kyle Hammonds led the team with 14 points and seven rebounds.
