Warriors fall at FDU-Florham

MADISON, N.J. –
The Lycoming College women’s soccer team fell on the road at FDU-Florham, 4-0, on a cloudy Saturday, Sept. 24. Junior Jennifer Basch (Pottstown, Pa./Pottsgrove) made eight saves for the Warriors.

Lycoming (1-6 overall) took nine shots in the match, led by three from senior Jenna Moyer (Hamburg, Pa./Hamburg).

Claire Donohue led the Devils with two goals, scoring in each half, while Melanie Anzidei added a first-half score and Gina Villar added a goal late in the game.

Melanie Pierson earned the win for the Devils (3-6 overall), as she posted two stops before Julia Perry finished the game with two saves in 19 minutes.

The Warriors get back on the field on Monday, Sept. 26, when they head to Lancaster Bible for a 4 p.m. contest.
