WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - After an emotion-filled come-from-behind 90-86 win over Staten Island in the opener of the Tip-Off Classic, the Lycoming College men’s basketball team will look for its 10th perfect run at the event when it faces Hunter on Saturday, Nov. 19, at 4 p.m.
The Warriors (2-0 overall) fell behind 58-46 against the Dolphins before storming back, with a three-quarter court 3-pointer from junior Ihsaan Davis sending the game to overtime. The Warriors controlled the overtime against the CUNYAC’s South Division preseason favorite, hitting six free throws to ensure the win.
The Hawks (1-1 overall) fell in the second game of the Tip-Off Classic to Adrian College, 77-51. The CUNYAC’s preseason second pick in the North Division was led by 12 points from senior Mark Courtien.

• Senior
Mike Bradley and Tommy Wesner ’04 are the only two-time MVPs of Lycoming’s Tip-Off Classic.
• The Warriors are 23-4 all-time in the classic and have won two titles in a row. The Warriors won the first seven Tip-Off Tournaments from 1998-2004.

Jerald Williams needs 14 more steals to tie the school record of 181 set by Geoff Boblick from 1994-98.
• Bradley needs three rebounds to reach 400 in his career.

Ihsaan Davis became the 12th person in school history to hit 100 career 3-pointers with his first of three against Staten Island.
• Head coach
Guy Rancourt can become the fifth coach in school history to win 50 games at the College with a win today. He passed Terry Conrad (2000-03, 48-31) for fifth on the school’s all-time wins chard with the win over Staten Island.
