WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. - Coming off a 97-63 win in the season opener at Penn State-Wilkes-Barre on Tuesday, Nov. 17, the Lycoming College men’s basketball team will enter its own 14th annual Tip-Off Classic looking for its 10th title at the event, as it will start the classic with a 6 p.m. game against CUNYAC South preseason favorite Staten Island.
The Warriors (1-0 overall) shot 50 percent from the floor against Penn State-Wilkes-Barre and all 16 players on the squad played at least six minutes in the win. Sophomore
Michael Rudy led the way with his first four career 3-pointers and a career-high 14 points.
The Dolphins (0-0 overall) are coming off a first-place finish in the CUNYAC South and are led by the league’s preseason player of the year, T.J. Tibbs. A senior guard, Tibbs averaged 5.0 assists and hit 42 percent of his 3-pointers as a junior.

• Senior
Mike Bradley and Tommy Wesner ’04 are the only two-time MVPs of Lycoming’s Tip-Off Classic.
• The Warriors are 22-4 all-time in the classic and have won two titles in a row. The Warriors won the first seven Tip-Off Tournaments from 1998-2004.
• Junior
Jerald Williams needs 18 more steals to tie the school record of 181 set by Geoff Boblick from 1994-98.
• The Warriors have scored at least 85 points and won each of the last three season-openers.
• Lycoming is 45-17 (.726) in home openers since becoming a four-year institution and the team is 24-7 (.774) in openers at Lamade Gym.
• Bradley needs nine rebounds to reach 400 in his career.

Ihsaan Davis needs one 3-pointer to become the 12th player in school history to can 100 in a career.
