ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The Lycoming College volleyball team fell in both their opening matches at the New York Regional Challenge on Friday evening, Oct. 28, dropping a 3-1 tight decision to Nazareth before falling to RIT in another closely contested bout, 3-0, on the campus of the University of Rochester.
 
The Warriors played solidly against Nazareth (22-15 overall), the No. 2 seed in the Empire 8 Tournament this week, but fell, 3-1 (25-16, 21-25, 25-22, 25-19).
 
Against RIT (15-21 overall), the Warriors were in each set, and had two match points during the first set, but the Tigers were able to take the 3-0 (30-28, 25-22, 25-22) decision.

The Warriors wrap up their regular season on Saturday, Oct. 29, with the last two matches of the New York Regional Challenge, facing off against Rochester at 11 a.m. before facing SUNY Brockport at 1 p.m.
