Box Score 2 THOUSAND OAKS, Calif. – After surviving four match-points, the Lycoming College volleyball team eventually outlasted Redlands, 3-2 (25-23, 19-25, 25-23, 19-25, 20-1), in their opening match on Saturday, Oct. 15, at the Posada Royale Fall Classic at California Lutheran University. In the closing match of the tournament, the Warriors fell to California Lutheran, 3-0 (25-10, 25-14, 25-13).
Down 14-11 in the fifth set, the Warriors (12-13 overall) stormed back with four straight points to take the lead, but Redlands (2-14 overall) posted two more points to take a 16-15 lead. The Warriors stayed in the match, though, with the next two points and senior
Heather Keller (Solanco, Pa./Quarryville) notched a huge kill to give the Warriors a 19-18 lead en route to the final 20-18 win.

Katelyn McKillop (Mount Pocono, Pa./Pocono Mountain West) notched nine assists, eight digs and two blocks and freshman
Amber Seibel (McDonald, Pa./South Fayette) added nine digs. Junior
Jackie Oliva (Barnesville, Pa./Mahanoy Area) notched two blocks and an ace.
Hayley Tamagni and Erin Hedrick led Cal Lutheran with six kills apiece and Rachel Smith posted nine digs.
The Warriors get back in action on Tuesday, Oct. 18, when they head to Alvernia for Commonwealth Conference action at 7 p.m. in a critical match for the Warriors’ playoff hopes.
