HERSHEY, Pa. – Behind a 28th place finish by freshman Drew Tompkins, the Lycoming College men’s golf team concluded its 2010 season at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships on Sunday, May 2, held at the 6,600 yard, par 71 Hershey Country Club East Course.

Tompkins shot a 178 over the two days of the tournament, including an 86 on the first day. Sophomore Robert Jumper shot the team’s second-best score with a 38 over 180. Just behind Jumper was junior Jed Simpson, finishing with a 183, tying him for 31st place. Sophomore Nick Lomauro posted a 186 and finished in a tie for 34th. Senior Jordan Hollander concluded his career with a 37th-place finish at 193.
