WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -
The Lycoming College men's and women's swim teams are set to compete at the 2010 Middle Atlantic Conference Championship meet, held at the Wilkes-Barre Catholic Youth Center from Friday, Feb. 12 through Sunday, Feb. 14. The first event is set to begin at noon on Friday.
With several top seeds, the Lady Warriors look to continue on last season's third-place finish at the event. Leading the way is
Stacy Flick, who earned top seeds in the 50-yard freestyle and the 100- and 200-yard breaststrokes.
Lindsey Hunsicker also earned a No. 1 seed in the 100-yard butterfly.
On the men's team,
Joseph Andrie earned two top-10 seeds. He is ranked No. 4 in the 200-yard breaststroke and sixth in the 100-yard breaststroke. Freshman
Ben Hitchcock is seeded fourth in the 100-yard backstroke and seventh in the 200-yard backstroke. He is also ranked No. 10 in the 400-yard individual medley.
