Lady Warrior soccer drops road game to Dickinson 5-0

CARLISLE, Pa.
--- Despite four out of five shots on goal, the Lycoming College women’s soccer team could not convert any into goals, falling to Dickinson College 5-0 on Saturday, Sept. 12. All four of the Warrior shots on goal came from different players.

The loss drops Lycoming to 1-3-1 on the season while Dickinson improves to 5-0.

Sophomore goalie Chelsea Powers (Dover, Pa./Dover Area) made nine stops on the day, facing 15 shots on goal. Leslie Kester (Lititz, Pa./Manheim Township), Kari Shaner (Hughesville, Pa./Hughesville), Chelsea Lindaberry (Washington, N.J./Warren Hills Regional) and Rebecca Bizon (Brookline, Vt./Leland & Grey Union) all placed their shots on goal, but Red Devil net minder Kailyn Hartmann made three saves while her back up Annie Weichert made one.

Lycoming is back in action on Tuesday, Sept. 15 when it hosts Juniata College. The match is set to begin at 4:30 p.m. at the Robert L. Shangraw Athletic Complex.
