GRANTHAM, Pa. --- Despite Megan McIntyres three goals and two assists, the Lycoming College Lady Warrior lacrosse team was unable to overcome Messiah College in a close 13-8 Middle Atlantic Conference battle on Thursday, April 9.

The loss drops Lycoming to 6-6 overall and 4-2 in the MAC while Messiah improves to 7-3 on the year and a perfect 6-0 in the league.

McIntyre paced the Lady Warriors with her five points while Justine Titko tallied one goal and two assists. Christi Karr and Grace Gargiulo each put in one goal and two assists. In the cage for Lycoming Brittany Bryan made nine saves to keep the Warriors in the game.

Lycoming will be back in action on Wednesday, April 15 when they host a big conference game against the Blue Jays of Elizabethtown College. The first draw is set to go at 4 p.m. at the Robert L. Shangraw Athletic Complex.
