Zach Frederick WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – The Lycoming College men’s soccer team dropped its second-straight game on Saturday, Sept. 13, falling 3-2 against Franklin & Marshall.

The Warriors opened the game with a goal in the third minute when Zach Frederick (West Chester, Pa.) beat two defenders down the field and converted on a long pass from Chris Lorenzet (Forest Hill, Md.).

Lycoming battled back when freshman Chris Burgess (Bel Air, Md.) scored his first collegiate goal off a Lorenzet assist in the 82nd minute but the Warriors could not score the equalizer.

Junior goalkeeper Matt Klipp (Collegeville, Pa.) was credited with the loss after allowing three goals and recording two saves. Starting goalkeeper David Bald sat out Saturday’s game with a stomach illness.
