After becoming the first Lycoming baseball pitcher to win two games in the span of a week, junior Zac Zaller has earned his first career Warrior of the Week award. The Union College (N.J.) transfer went 2-0 with 3.00 ERA in a pair of wins over MAC Freedom foes, tossing five innings of one-hit ball in a 7-4 win over Wilkes, allowing no runs and just one walk, striking out five before throwing four innings, allowing five hits, three walks and three runs in a 12-7 win over Delaware Valley, striking out two.
Zaller is 2-1 on the season with a 6.11 ERA. He leads the team with 10 strikeouts and is second with 17.2 innings pitched.
