Leading the Lycoming softball team through a 6-2 week by hitting .565 (13-of-23) with four doubles, a triple, four RBI and scoring five runs has helped junior Rachel DeWolfe to her first career Warrior of the Week award. Slugging .826 and posting a 1.391 OPS during the team's trip to Myrtle Beach, DeWolfe had a hit in all seven games she played in and the designated player started the season with extra-base hits in her first five games. She went 3-for-5 with two runs, a double and two RBI against Keene State and had two-hit games against Curry, Keene State, McDaniel, Mansfield and Utica.
DeWolfe currently leads the MAC Freedom with a .565 batting average. She is second with a 1.391 OPS (on-base percentage plus slugging percentage, third with an .826 slugging percentage and fifth with four doubles, despite starting just six games.
