After struggling with injuries for much of her junior year, senior Shauna Starr made up for lost time, notching five multi-hit games for the Warriors during Spring Break in Myrtle Beach, helping the team wrap up a 6-2 week. In all, Starr hit a sterling .458 (11-for-24) to go with five runs and eight RBI. On Tuesday, she notched two hits, two RBI and a run to help her cause as she earned her first win since her sophomore year on the mound in a 13-2 win over Principia. In the circle, Starr tossed a complete game, allowing just two runs and seven hits while striking out three. She followed that by capping an 8-1 win over Suffolk by hitting her first career grand slam in the afternoon Tuesday. She also posted two hits in both games against Arcadia and added two hits, two RBI and a run in 8-4 win over Principia to wrap up the week.
