After winning his first career tournament, first-year Kobin Karper has earned his first career Warriof of the Week award, Seeded fourth at 149 pounds, Karber opened his tournament with a pin of Southern Virginia's Xavier Jukes (1:25) before notching a 20-2 technical fall of Gettysburg's Jake Stein. He then downed the top-seed, Southern Virginia's Eli Blackwell, 8-0 in a major decision to reach the finals, where he pinned Logan Bartlett in the third period of an all-Lycoming final. Karper is a perfect 7-0 this season.
