After continuing the second-longest win streak in the MAC Freedom to help the Warriors during a 2-0 week, first-year Rei Saar has earned her second career Warrior of the Week award. Saar also became the 19th player in the 50-year history of the Lycoming College women's tennis program to reach 20 combined wins in a season to highlight the 4-0 week for the rookie. The Montoursville, Pa., native moved to the top of the team's doubles lineup and teamed with Hannah Seebold to post a key 8-7 (6) win over Alfred's Lauren Boshart and Macy Youngberg before she beat Alex Rossen, 6-2, 3-6, 10-5 at No. 4 singles to cap a 6-3 win. She followed that by helping Lycoming beat Clarks Summit, 9-0, to improve to above .500 for the first time this year, as she beat Linae Varner, 6-0, 6-0, at No. 4 singles and teamed with Seebold for an 8-1 win at No. 1 doubles. Saar has won 11 straight singles matches.
