After averagin 23.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steal per game during a 2-0 week on the road for the men's basketball team, sophomore Steven Hamilton has earned his first career Warrior of the Week award. Hamilton posted 20 points and five rebounds in the 97-88 win over Delaware Valley and followed that with a career-best and a team-season-high 27 points in a 78-66 win over Arcadia. The guard also added five rebounds and three assists in that win, when he posted 18 of 27 points in the first half. For the week, Hamilton shot 50 percent (14-of-28) from the field and 90 percent (17-of-19) at the free throw line.
Hamilton leads the Warriors and is sixth in the MAC Freedom with an average of 14.3 points per game, while his 3.4 assists per game is also sixth in the league. His .433 3-point field goal percentage is third in the league.
