After another day where he was all over the field, notching eight tackles including three for a loss, junior linebacker Cole Senior has earned his first career Warrior of the Week award. Senior, who has evolved into a dual threat on the defense, working as both a linebacker on the second level and with a hand on the turf as a defensive end, made his biggest impact in the span between the third and fourth quarters with Lycoming holding a seven-point lead. He stopped quarterback Todd Shelley for a one-yard loss on 1-and-20 and then on 3-and-23, he combined with David Tomb for a six-yard sack. Four of the five tackles that Senior made on defense came behind the line of scrimmage and he added three more stops on special teams.Â
