After leading the Lycoming football team to a dramatic win for its first win at Stevenson since 2013, senior Elijah Shemory has won his second career Warrior of the Week award. Shemory led a perfect 2-minute drill, leading the Warriors on a 69-yard, nine-play drive that started with 1:19 left and finished with 10 seconds left with a two-yard touchdown pass to lift Lycoming to a 29-28 win. He finished 21-of-37 for 249 yards and two touchdowns and ran 15 times for 61 yards and one touchdown in the win, accounting for all three touchdowns in the win, finishing with 310 yards of total offense. Down 14-3 with 1:45 left in second quarter and facing 2-and-24, he pump faked and then found Tyjah During for 69-yard score down the right sideline. He scored himself on one-yard rush with 9:53 left in third to give Warriors first lead of the game. During that final drive, on 4-and-10 from Stevenson 32 with 29 seconds left, he rushed for 19 yards to get the ball to the 13, then forced a pass interference call to get the ball to the two before he connected with Joey Guida for the game-winning touchdown from two yards out.Â
