Hitting .538 during a 2-2 week against two of the top teams in the MAC, sophomore Morgan Wetzel has earned her first career Warrior of the Week award. The center fielder went 7-for-13 while helping the Warriors to a 2-2 mark against perennial regional power Messiah and MAC Freedom-leading Misericordia, slugging a team-best .923 in the four games. Wetzel posted two doubles and her team-leading third homer of the year, which drove in three runs, and she also scored four times. The sophomore was also perfect in the field, even notching two outfield assists during the week.
