Just two months after her basketball career ended due to an injury, senior Kayla Kline hit .462 with a .923 slugging percentage during a 6-2 spring break trip for the Lycoming softball team to earn her 13th career Warrior of the Week award and the third of the season. Kline had four doubles, a triple, two homers and 12 RBI during the week, going 12-for-26, posting hits in seven of eight games, including four multi-hit games. Her exploits included going 2-for-4 with two runs, three RBI and homer in 11-1 win over Fitchburg State, 2-for-3 with a game-tying three-run RBI triple in the seventh inning in 5-4 win over Norwich, reaching 10 career homers (second in school history to do so) and breaking the school's career total bases record with a bomb to left field against Lancaster Bible. She went 3-for-3 with two runs, two RBI and two doubles in final game of trip against Dean, moving into second in school history with 126 career hits. Kline is first in school history in career batting average (.467), on-base percentage (.490) and total bases (193).
