With a meet-clinching singles win and a pair of wins at the MAC Individual Championships, freshman Casey Haas has earned his first career Warrior of the Week award. After falling behind Penn College, 2-1, after doubles play, Haas sealed a comeback win with a 6-4, 6-0 win over Joseph Morrin at No. 3 singles to seal Lycoming's fourth singles win to clinch the team's third straight win, the program's longest win streak since 2011-12. He followed that by teaming with Frank Summerson at No. 2 doubles to post an 8-5 win over Alvernia to reach the quarterfinals at the MAC Individual Championships and also had a 4-6, 6-1, 10-4 superset tiebreaker win over Kevin Angeles of Alvernia at No. 3 singles to also reach the quarterfinals. Haas is 5-3 in singles play and 3-5 in doubles this year.
