After taking perhaps the most important charge in the history of the Lycoming College women's basketball program, senior Jenn Grove has earned her first career Warrior of the Week award. Leading Widener in the conference semifinals by a point as the clock rolled quickly towards all zeroes, the league's leading scorer took the baseline, where she ran through Grove with 3.1 seconds left. Lycoming ran out the clock and advanced to its first MAC Commonwealth Championship game since moving to the conference in 2007-08 and the first conference title game since 1990. Grove, a 5-9 forward, also added eight points, three assists and three rebounds in the 65-64 win, The senior also had a second-chance putback with 1:38 left to give Lycoming its 65th point. She also posted four points and four rebounds in the conference championship against seventh-ranked Messiah. For the week, Grove averaged 6.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.5 assists.
