Posting a 5-0 record at the Budd Whitehill Duals to clinch all three of Lycoming's dual meet wins at the event, senior Garrett Wesneski has earned his second career Warrior of the Week award and first of the season. Down 21-20 to Castleton, Wesneski posted a 6-0 decision over 280-pound Jesse Webb on Friday. He also had a major decision against Wis.-Eau Claire and a decision against TCNJ. On Saturday, he posted a pin of Clay Chadwick in 49 seconds to lift the Warriors to a 23-21 come-from-behind win over 23rd-ranked Washington & Lee. Up 19-15 against Wesleyan, he iced the win with a pin of Harrison Karp in 1:26, helping the Warriors finish ninth at the tournament. Wesneski, ranked fifth by d3wrestle.com and sixth by the NWCA, is 17-1 on the season.
