After averaging 19.0 points, 6.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3.0 steals and 1.5 blocks per game during the Hoops for Hounds Tournament, junior Akilah McFadden has earned her first Warrior of the Week award of the season and the fifth of her career. The guard posted 20 points, six rebounds, four assists, five steals and two blocks in a 72-69 loss to Rutgers-Newark, as she became the 26th player in school history to reach 700 career points in the game. She added 18 points, six rebounds, three assists and a block in a 77-69 win over Hunter. For the tournament, McFadden shot 46.8 percent (15-of-32) from the floor and 45 percent (4-of-9) from 3-point range.
