After a go-ahead basket with 14.3 seconds left thanks to an all-out sprinting layup on Saturday, senior Becca Painter has earned her third career Warrior of the Week award and first of the season. The guard averaged 12.0 points, 3.0 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 1.0 steal in a pair of wins during the week to lead the team to a pair of wins against teams that previously hadn't lost in conference play. Painter started the week with a season-high 15 points in a 60-50 win over Lebanon Valley, dropping in three 3-pointers, also adding six rebounds and two steals in the win. She followed that with nine points and three assists in a 55-52 win over Arcadia, leading the team to a comeback from down 11 by locking down Arcadia's top scorer Taylor Dunn in the second half, holding her to seven points. She also scored the aforementioned game-winning layup, getting out in transition, beating everyone down the floor for a layup to give Lycoming a 53-52 lead with 14 seconds left.
