By breaking a 24-year-old record in the 500-yard freestyle, freshman Jake Booth has earned his first career Warrior of the Week award. Booth posted a time of 4:55.57 in the event at the Diamond City Invitational, breaking the mark of 4:56.41 set by Neil Ryan in 1994. He took third in the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 1:57.53, the second-fastest time in the MAC this year and the third-fastest time in program history. He also took third in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:49.70. Booth also helped the 200- and 400-yard freestyle relay team finish sixth and the 200- and 400-yard medley relay take fifth.
