After extending her singles wins streak to a season-best six matches thanks to a tough three-set win, sophomore Devinity Apollon has earned her second Warrior of the Week award of the season. Apollon posted a gritty 6-3, 0-6, 6-0 win over Marla Scacchitti at No. 1 singles, a match that helped Lycoming tie its MAC Commonwealth Championship semifinal match with Lebanon Valley at four in an eventual 5-4 loss to the eventual conference champions. Apollon finished the year with a 12-7 record in singles play and a 7-1 record against MAC Commonwealth foes, helping her earn the conference's Rookie of the Year award, given by the conference on Friday.
