Thanks to reaching a milestone, senior men's basketball player Chris Wallace has earned his fifth career Warrior of the Week selection as he repeats for the week ending Dec. 17. Wallace became the 31st player in program history to score 1,000 career points while averaging 18.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 2.5 steals and 2.0 blocks in a pair of Warrior wins to help the ninth-ranked team in the country improve to 11-0. The Calvert Hall grad posted 20 points, eight rebounds, two steals and a block in a 75-67 win over York (N.Y.), finishing three points shy of 1,000 in the game. He crossed the milestone when he poured in 16 points to go with three rebounds, three blocks and three steals in an 82-69 win over Marywood, reaching 1,000 points with a first-half free throw. He shot 59 percent from the floor (13-of-22) and 1.000 percent at the line (10-of-10) during the week. Wallace crossed 1,000 points in his 95th career game, as the four-year starter has averaged 10.7 points and 5.7 rebounds per game in his career.
