After a season in which she posted four career-best times, senior Rachel Fritz saved her best, running the third-fastest time in school history at the NCAA Mideast Regional on Saturday to earn her first Warrior of the Week award of her career. Fritz ran a 24:23 at the regional, good for 95th out of 351 runners, as she bested her previous-best mark of 25:03.5 set at the MAC Championship on Oct. 28. From her freshman year, when she ran a season-best time of 30:45.18, she shaved more than six minutes off her 6K time and was just 22 seconds shy of the school-record of 24:01 at her last race.
