After hitting .619 with a 1.238 slugging percentage to lead the Warriors during a 6-0 week, freshman shortstop Kayla Kline has earned her fourth career Warrior of the Week award and second as a member of the softball team. Kline went 13-of-21 with nine runs, four doubles, three homers, eight RBI and 26 total bases. During the week, she set school single-season records for runs (38), at bats (137) and doubles (12), starting the week with two homers and a double in a 9-2 win over Elmira. She followed that by going 2-for-5 with walk-off homer in a 4-3 win over regionally-ranked Widener to start a Warrior sweep, as the team finished just one game out of contention for a MAC Commonwealth Championship Tournament slot. Kline then finished the season by going 3-for-3 with three runs and a double in a 9-1 win over MAC Freedom Tournament team Misericordia. In all, during the span of six games, Kline had five multi-hit games and scored and drove in a run in all six games.
