After extending her hitting streak to 15 games during a monster week, freshman Kayla Kline has earned her third Warrior of the Week award and her first as a member of the softball team. Through the first 15 games of the season, Kline has hit safely in each of them to accumulate the third-longest hitting streak in school history. Kline hit .714 with 10 hits in 14 at bats a pair of MAC Commonwealth doubleheaders, scoring five runs with two doubles, a triple and one RBI while slugging at 1.000. She went 3-for-6 with a run in doubleheader against Hood before she moved into MAC Commonwealth lead in batting average (.482) after a 7-for-8 effort in doubleheader sweep of Alvernia. Kline went 4-for-4 with a triple, a run and RBI in first game, scoring game-tying run in a four-run seventh inning to lift team to 4-3 win before a 3-for-4 effort with two doubles and three runs in the second game of the doubleheader.
