After recovering two fourth-quarter fumbles and adding an interception in Lycoming's 24-21 four-overtime loss to Widener, junior Mike Ward has earned his first Warrior of the Week award. Ward recovered both fumbles with less than five minutes left in fourth quarter when Widener was trying to run down the clock. His second recovery led to a 41-yard touchdown that sent game to overtime and he added an interception at the one-yard line in top of first OT. He finished with seven tackles, 0.5 for loss and he has been a part of at least one turnover in five straight games. For the season, he has two interceptions, four fumble recoveries and one forced fumble.
