With a pair of big plays to help the Lycoming football team to a 48-0 win over Hilbert College, senior Jeremaiah Cooper has earned his first career Warrior of the Week award. Cooper finished with just four tackles in the game, but he had a sack and a fumble recovery. Cooper's sack on 3-and-3 came on a rollout and forced the Hawks to punt, which led to a touchdown on the ensuing drive and his fumble recovery on the next drive at midfield helped the Warriors to a field goal and a 27-0 lead at halftime.
The outside linebacker has posted 39 career tackles, two sacks, five passes defended and one fumble recovery in his career. This year, he has appeared seven tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery.
