Freshman Tanya DeWalt averaged 11.6 kills over the course of the Warriors five matches last week, hitting a solid .320 and adding 0.75 digs per set to help seal her first career Warrior of the Week honors. DeWalt helped the Warriors to the Tip-Off Classic title, including two wins over Misericordia, who is tied for second in the Freedom Conference. She also had 10 or more kills in each of the last four matches, including a solid 15 kills in the championship match against Misericordia on Oct. 9.
