ANNVILLE, Pa. --- In a release from the Middle Atlantic States Collegiate Athletic Conference, men’s soccer senior forward Chris Lorenzet has been named as the Commonwealth Conference’s Player of the Week for the week of Sept. 14.

Lorenzet was also named as the Warrior of the Week for Lycoming College.

Lorenzet had a stand out week, helping the Warriors go 2-0 and had a hand in every goal against Susquehanna in the Battle of the Boot game on Friday, Sept. 11, which Lycoming won for the first time since 2003. Lorenzet scored the game winner versus Cazenovia College on Sunday, Sept. 13 as well as scoring his second penalty kick of the year against Susquehanna.

Lycoming’s sports information office will announce a Warrior of the Week through the 2009-10 academic year. The athletes will be featured on the homepage of the athletics Web site at www.lycoming.edu/athletics
