By earning the 61st All-American honors for a Lycoming College wrestler, sophomore Nolan Barger has earned his fourth career Warrior of the Week award and his third of the year. Barger went 5-1 at the NCAA Division III Championships to take third at 165 pounds to become the first Warrior All-American since 2009. Barger opened his tournament run with a 5-3 win over Luther's Blake Lettney before falling to Waynesburg's Sam Guidi in the quarterfinals, 3-2. In his first wrestleback, Barger pinned his opponent, Lakeland's Mitchell Fucile in 59 seconds to earn All-American honors. On Saturday, he pinned Hunter's Jesse Bader in 40 seconds before defeating the tournament's top seed Andrew Steiert of Wartburg, 6-4, in the consolation semifinals to reach the third-place match, where he dominated Guidi en route to a 12-2 win in a rematch of the quarterfinal.
