A breakthrough performance that included two wins over top-10 wrestlers has helped sophomore Nolan Barger earn his third Warrior of the Week award of the season and his second of the year. Barger, the fourth seed at the NCAA Mideast Regionals, started the day with a 5-0 win over No. 5-seed David Shapiro of Baldwin-Wallace before he met up with top-seed Colt Lovejoy of Ohio Northern in the semifinals. Like he had twice previously this season, Barger defeated the seventh-ranked wrestler by d3wrestle.com and the ninth-ranked wrestler by the NWCA, winning 12-9, to set up the finals appearance with John Carroll's 10th-ranked Terner Gott, which he won 6-2 thanks to a five-point second period. Barger will be back on the mat in on March 13-14 with teammate Johnathan Secor at the NCAA Division III Championships.
