The first back-to-back MAC Champion in nearly a decade, senior Dan Woods has earned his fifth career Warrior of the Week award and his second of the season. Woods defended his MAC title in the 100-yard butterfly on Saturday night, taking over the race in the final 25 yards to post win the title in 50.83. Just two races later, he followed that by earning Second Team All-MAC honors in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:00.23. He also earned Second Team All-MAC honors in the 200-yard medley relay, posting a school-record time of 1:36.48 on Thursday night, before he led off the 800-yard freestyle relay team that fell two-tenths shy of the school record, finishing in 7:22.47. On Friday, he helped the 400-yard medley relay team to a school record time of 3:33.06, finishing fifth, and then took ninth in the 200-yard individual medley in 1:59.22.
