An outstanding two games in which he continued to prove he is among the Commonwealth Conference's elite players, sophomore Nykolas King has earned his first career Warrior of the Week award. In a pair of contests against league contenders, he averaged 18.0 points, 7.0 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game. He notched 18 points, 11 rebounds and four steals in a 76-69 win over Lebanon Valley in a battle for first-place in the Commonwealth Conference and King scored four straight points to break the last tie in the game with 3:01 left. He added 18 more points, five assists and three rebounds in an overtime loss against preseason favorite Stevenson. King did help lead the team back, though, to force overtime and he assisted on the game-tying basket to send the game to overtime.
