By becoming the first player in the rally-scoring era to post 65 assists in a match, freshman Catherine Burger has earned her first career Warrior of the Week award. Burger led the team through a 3-1 week, averaging an impressive 10.71 assists per set to go with 1.86 digs and 0.86 kills per set. Burger started the week by setting the rally-scoring era record for assists, notching 65 to help the team hit .265 in the match. She also added 10 digs to earn a double-double. She followed that by notching 31 assists, three aces and four kills in a sweep of Lancaster Bible, then notched four kills, 30 assists, two aces, six digs and two blocks in a 3-0 win over Hood in another conference match, helping the team near its fourth straight conference tournament bid.
