A walk-off double in her last plate appearance of the 2014 season has helped sophomore catcher Shawna Risley earn her first career Warrior of the Week award. With the score tied at two and a runner on third with one out in the bottom of the eighth inning of the first game of Saturday's doubleheader against Elizabethtown, Risley roped a shot into left field to end the game. She finished the season with a .267 average to go with three doubles and eight RBI. She finished the game against Elizabethtown 1-for-3 with the RBI double and she was also hit by a pitch.
