By clinching the Lycoming College women's tennis team's first Commonwealth Conference win since 2012, senior Kendall Connors has earned her first career Warrior of the Week award. Connors won the final match in Lycoming's 5-4 win over Hood. She was involved in a rollercoaster match at No. 6 singles against Hood on Saturday, as she won her first four games in the match with Hood's Kendra Laster. Laster came back to win the next five games, but Connors won the last three to take the first set, 7-5. In the second set, Connors was able to close out the win, taking a 5-4 lead and winning the last two points of the 10th game of the set after it was tied at 30. In doubles play, Connors and freshman Sophie Herzing posted an 8-0 win over Meaghan Donahue and Laster at No. 3
