With a Empire Collegiate Wrestling Conference title under his belt, senior 184-pounder Greg Wetzel has wrapped up his third career Warrior of the Week award and second of the year. Wetzel had a hard road to the title, as he fell behind, 4-2, in the second period against Ithaca's Daniel Glinko in the championship bout. However a takedown late in the second tied the score and Wetzel sealed the match with an escape and a third-period takedown to take the 8-5 win. Wetzel started his run with a 14-0 major decision against Oswego's Cody LaFever before posting a 2-0 decision against Liam Korbul of Ithaca in the semifinals, setting up his championship bout.
