WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. – Lycoming College senior women’s lacrosse attacker Megan McIntyre has been named the College’s Warrior of the Week for April 26.
McIntyre became Lycoming's second all-time leading scorer on Wednesday, April 26, after tallying two goals and two assists in a dominating 20-3 victory over Wilkes University. She now has 236 points (146g, 90a), passing Lycoming Hall of Famer Brenda MacPhail ’01, who graduated as the College’s all-time leading scorer with 234 points (170g, 64a), and is now third on the list. McIntyre took five shots in the game, putting two on cage, both of which found the back of the net.
McIntyre is a business major.
The Lady Warriors return to the Robert L. Shangraw Athletic Complex to take on MAC newcomer Lebanon Valley College on Tuesday, April 27, beginning at 4 p.m.
Lycoming’s sports information office will announce a Warrior of the Week throughout the 2009-10 academic year. The athletes will be featured on the homepage of the athletics Web site at athletics.lycoming.edu.
