After earning a spot on the Houghton Invitational All-Tournament team, senior Shelby Gear picked up her third career Warrior of the Week award. The right-side hitter had a huge weekend for the Warriors, as she posted 18 kills, 11 digs and two blocks in a 3-1 win over Houghton, hitting .432 in the match. She followed that with 15 kills and four blocks against Michigan-Dearborn and capped the weekend by posting eight kills and seven blocks, hitting .412 against SUNY Canton. In all, she averaged 3.14 kills and hit .351 while helping the Warriors to a 4-1 week.
