After averaging 3.16 kills and hitting .324 to lead the Warriors to a 4-1 week, sophomore Bethany Richardson has earned her third career Warrior of the Week award. Richardson notched four double-digit kill efforts in five matches, helping her earn a slot on the Tip-Off Tournament All-Tournament Team. She started the week by posting 18 kills against Albright in a five-set conference win. On Friday night, Sept. 27, she helped the Warriors to a pair of wins over programs they had never beaten before, starting with 10 kills and hitting .474 against Elmira, then adding 14 kills and hitting .375 to lead the team to a five-set win over Ithaca. She also added 18 kills on the second day of the tournament, notching 12 against St. Mary's and six against Penn College. She also added 0.58 blocks and 0.58 aces per set during the 19-set week.
