Although he has earned seven MAC Special Teams Player of the Week nods, senior Zack Czap picked up an honor new to his resume this week, earning his first career Warrior of the Week award. Czap did it with one of the best games of his career as a Warrior. Having not attempted a field goal all season, Czap tied the school's single-game record with three, his last a 33-yarder with 2:24 left to lift the Warriors to the 16-14 win over 24th-ranked Widener. He hit a first-quarter field goal from 44 and a second-quarter field goal from 31, plus he added an extra point, as he accounted for 10 of the team's 16 points in the win. He also helped the Warriors win the battle of field position, blasting seven punts, two inside the 20, for an average of 38.4 yards, averaging two more yards per punt than Widener's counterpart.
