By becoming the fourth player in the last 40 years to reach 50 career combined wins with the final two wins of his career on Saturday at Hood, senior Cody Heffner has earned his first career Warrior of the Week award. He teamed with senior Jason Mifsud to post an 8-0 win over Hood’s Luis Cotto and Chad Love at No. 1 doubles and then added a 6-0, 6-1 win over Cotto at No. 2 singles for his 50th win. Heffner finished his career with 28 singles wins, the second-best mark in school history, and 22 doubles wins, the fourth-most.
